Oil & Gas Revenue Accountant
Arsenal Resources is seeking a full-time Revenue Accountant for a hybrid schedule to include work in the Company’s Wexford, PA office. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring revenue collection and processing revenue for company share, working interest and royalty shares on a monthly basis.
Remote work will be considered for this role.
Responsibilities include:
• Maintenance of revenue workbooks for both operated and non-operated wells
• Daily reconciliation between company accounts and bank accounts, including deposit entries
• Assist in monthly reconciliations of the related receivable and payable accounts
• Participate in monthly, quarterly and yearly accounting cycles
• In charge of the company’s revenue payables and receivables and communication to relevant stakeholders and partners
• Verification that all revenue accounting transactions for each month are recorded
• Review of well production volumes and compare to paid revenue volumes
• Recording monthly revenue accruals using estimated production volumes provided by production department
• Coordination with land department on all ownership, suspense and address issues
• Completion of monthly, quarterly and yearly tax reporting for revenue to meet federal and state requirements
• Participation in additional accounting projects as needed
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of two years’ experience in accounting or finance department
• Proficient with Microsoft office required with experience in Enertia accounting software preferred
• Knowledge of Oil & Gas revenue accounting preferred
• Must be well organized with excellent analytical and communication skills
• Flexible with the ability to solve problems
• Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills; accuracy and timeliness are essential
• Excellent project managerial skills
• Ability to cooperate with all levels of employees, management, purchasers and external agencies
• Ability to prioritize multiple functions and manage work time efficiently
• Self-motivated and willingness to work in challenging environs
